Mr. Bull made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stamis, to accept the Minutes of the July 27, 2011 Council Meeting as submitted; motion carried.
Mr. Kilgallen made a motion, seconded by Mr. Howell, to adopt Resolution No. 1681 commending Officer Ben Ash for his diligent and dedicated service to the residents of Parkside Borough; motion carried. A presentation of the commendation Resolution was made to Officer Ash by Mayor Gordon.
Mr. Kilgallen made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bull, to adopt Resolution No. 1679 commending the entire Parkside Police Department for dedicated service to the residents of Parkside Borough; motion carried. A presentation of the commendation Resolution was made to Chief Egan and Sgt. Paul by President Purcival. A framed copy of the Resolution will be hung on the “History Wall” in the Borough Council Chambers.
